Since everybody loves my story about Fang, I decided to make another picture contributing to that story. The concept of this picture is rather confusing. The title of this picture...is actually what BOTH of the wolves are asking.
Fang's friends and family died when the forest was destroyed. Their DNA was taken and put into female dogs to give birth to the deceased magical wolves. After the first dog has her litter, Fang walks into the barn to see the puppies of her kin, but she doesn't know how territorial the mother dogs are. They chase her away numerous times. This makes Fang very sad. She has to wait to see her family again.
Then finally, one day, when the puppies got older, Fang anxiously rushes inside the barn. She goes to meet the one puppy she is most hopeful to see - her mother. When she sees the puppy, Fang is paralyzed with wonder. Her mother, Ildri, is sitting in front of her...looking up at her, as if Fang were HER mother!
Ildri is asking, "...m-mommy?..."
While Fang, is asking, "Are you REALLY my mommy?"

Fang may be confused, but at least the moment she had been waiting for, had finally arrived.
